Salhan Village, May 2, 2025 – A free health camp was successfully conducted at the Salhan Panchayat Bhavan for Berwari village on Friday, under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) initiative of Usha Martin University, Ranchi. The camp was organized in collaboration with Dev Kamal Hospital, Ranchi. The health camp, held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, witnessed active participation from the local community. Residents of the village availed themselves of free medical consultations and basic health check-ups, medicines provided by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals of Dev Kamal Hospital. Speaking on the occasion, Salhan Mukhiya Mrs. SaritaTirkey and Upmukhiya Mrs. Bimala Choudhary emphasized the importance of such initiatives in bridging the healthcare gap in rural areas. The event aimed to promote awareness about preventive healthcare and ensure access to medical facilities for underserved populations. The event was organized by Dr Lopamudra Satapathy, UBA Coordinator, Dr Priyanka Pallavi, Director Training and placement, Dr Rupa Kumari and Mrs Sangita Kujur of Usha Martin University.
