Ranchi, 16 September 2026: The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, Usha Martin University (UMU), Ranchi, is delighted to announce a significant academic and research achievement by Adyan Raza, a 7th Semester BTech Computer Science and Engineering student of the University.

Adyan Raza was conferred with the Best Paper Award at the 3rd International Conference on Computational Intelligence (ICCI 2026): Machine Learning for Geospatial Analytics, held from 10–12 September 2026 at the Birla Institute of Technology (BIT), Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India.

The achievement marks an important milestone in Adyan Raza’s academic and research journey and highlights the growing participation of undergraduate students in contemporary research and innovation. Presenting research at an international academic forum provides students with an opportunity to engage with emerging technologies, interact with researchers and experts, and gain valuable exposure beyond the classroom.The recognition also reflects the University’s continued emphasis on research, innovation, experiential learning, and encouraging students to explore contemporary areas of technology and contribute to the academic community.

The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology congratulated Adyan Raza on this achievement and expressed its appreciation for his research efforts and academic commitment.
