Annual Sports and Fest 2026 Concluded Successfully at Usha Martin University

The fourth and final day of the Annual Sports and Fest 2026 concluded today at Usha Martin University with a grand cultural evening and prize felicitation ceremony. The closing celebrations were marked by high student energy, strong audience participation and a festive campus atmosphere. Winners of all sports and cultural competitions were felicitated by the Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Milind, in the presence of senior university officials. The overall four-day programme had been coordinated under the guidance of Dr. Jayantika Pal, Dean Students’ Welfare.

The highlight of the final day was the live musical performance by Unnati Shah, who set the vibe for the evening and kept the audience engaged throughout her performance. Students gathered in large numbers and enjoyed the music, singing along and celebrating the conclusion of the fest. Speaking about her experience, Unnati Shah said that the crowd was “full of energy, warm and extremely responsive,” and she expressed happiness at performing for the students.

During the closing ceremony, winners of athletics events such as races, long jump, high jump and shot put, along with winners of kabaddi and other team sports, were formally recognised. Winners of cultural competitions including dance, singing, drama, theatre, mehndi, rangoli, photography and reel making were also honoured for their achievements.

Earlier during the fest, the cultural segment had been graced by the presence of Madhu Mansoori Hasmukh, Indian singer, songwriter and activist, whose interaction with students had inspired young performers and participants.

The four-day celebration also included food stalls and game stalls, which remained active till the final day and contributed to the festive environment. Students and faculty members participated together, strengthening campus bonding and community spirit.

The successful completion of the Annual Sports and Fest 2026 reflected the University’s continued focus on holistic development, student talent and cultural participation. The event concluded with a strong sense of achievement and celebration across the campus.
