Proud to share that the *Department of Physiotherapy, Usha Martin University (UMU)* made a strong and enthusiastic presence at the prestigious *World Physiotherapy Asia Western Pacific (AWP) Regional Conference 2026, held on **26th–27th September 2026 at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi*.

The UMU delegation comprised *7 faculty members and 63 students*, who actively participated in the academic and co-curricular activities of the conference and represented the University with great enthusiasm.

As part of the scientific programme, *Dr. Akanksha Anand Saxena* had the opportunity to deliver a *keynote presentation in the symposium on “Role of AI in Cardiac Rehabilitation”* and contribute as a *member of the Organising Committee (Cardiorespiratory). She was also felicitated for her contribution as **State Coordinator, IAP Women Cell (IAPWC)*.

Our students enthusiastically participated in several activities, including the *Flash Mob, Youth Parliament, Ad-Mad Show, Global Parade* and other events, and brought laurels to the University by securing *3rd Prize in the Flash Mob competition*.

The conference provided a valuable platform for our faculty and students to interact with international experts, gain insights into emerging technologies and innovations in physiotherapy, and broaden their understanding of the evolving global landscape of the profession.
