Faculty of Computing & Information Technology department of Usha Martin University in collaboration with Google Developer Group (GDG) Ranchi, hosted an engaging session on 9th May 2025 titled “Understanding Cybersecurity in the Age of Gen AI”. The event was graced by the presence of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Registrar, Dean Academics, HOD and other esteemed faculty members of the University. Mr. Nikhilesh Tayal, a Google Developer Expert in AI/ML was the resource person of this event who shared insightful perspectives on how generative AI is reshaping cybersecurity, emphasizing the urgency for AI-integrated defenses. Attendees appreciated the clarity and practicality of the discussion, which covered adversarial attacks, AI hallucinations, and data privacy. The event marked a successful partnership between academia and industry, promoting awareness and innovation in cybersecurity.
