The students of the Faculty of Agriculture at Usha Martin University have taken a unique initiative to celebrate Holi in an eco-friendly manner. They have prepared organic colors using harvested flowers, discarded temple flowers, and vegetables, promoting sustainability and environmental awareness. To support and encourage their innovative efforts, a special stall for selling these organic colors will be set up at the university’s reception area. This initiative not only promotes the use of natural, chemical-free colors but also emphasizes waste management and sustainable practices. The event was inaugurated by the Pro-Chancellor Prof. S. C. Garg, Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra and Dean Academics Prof. B. N. Sinha. The event was coordinated by Ms. Juhi Chandra and Ms. Priya Priyanka Tudu, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Agriculture. On this occasion, all faculty members, students, and staff participated and motivated the students to continue this meaningful and eco-conscious endeavor.
