Usha Martin University, under the aegis of the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) Cell, organized a thought-provoking seminar titled “Communication and Indian Knowledge Tradition” on April 10, 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and scholars.
The keynote address was delivered by Mr. Mrunal Kumar Pathak, Assistant Professor, Humanities and Social Sciences, BIT Mesra. Known for his profound thinking, composed demeanor, and creative leadership, he delivered an inspiring talk highlighting the significance of Indian Knowledge Traditions in today’s context.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Madhulika Kaushik emphasized the need to stay connected to our roots through India’s rich traditional wisdom. Registrar Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra encouraged students to actively engage with these timeless systems.
Dr. B.N. Sinha, Dean Academics, delivered the vote of thanks, underlining the importance of integrating IKS into modern education. Dr. Anupama Verma, IKS Coordinator, and Dr. Shimpi Kumari Chaturvedi, IKS Course Coordinator, were also present during the event.
