Usha Martin University (UMU) is pleased to announce the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Forensi Labs on 18 September 2026, further strengthening a collaboration that has been continuing since 2023.
Over the past three years, the association between UMU and Forensi Labs has facilitated meaningful opportunities for academic engagement, practical exposure, specialised training, knowledge sharing, and professional development in the field of Forensic Science, for students and faculty members. As part of this continuing engagement, Forensi Labs conducted a specialised Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) Workshop for students of the Department of Forensic Science, Usha Martin University.
The workshop provided students with practical exposure to crime scene examination, documentation, evidence identification and the application of forensic principles in simulated investigative situations. Such initiatives help bridge the gap between theoretical learning and professional practice, enabling students to gain hands-on experience and a better understanding of the practical requirements of the forensic science profession. The signing of the new MoU marks another important milestone in this ongoing association and establishes a framework for further training programmes, experiential learning opportunities, academic initiatives, skill development activities, professional interactions, and collaborative engagements in the field of forensic science.
Usha Martin University looks forward to many more meaningful initiatives and milestones with Forensi Labs.
