An orientation program for the new session students at Usha Martin University has been organized from 26.08.24 to 30.08.24. This five-day program is divided into three parts. On the first day, the orientation will be conducted for students from the departments of Management, Journalism and Mass Communication, English, Computer Science, Agriculture, Mathematics, and Commerce. On the second and third days, the orientation will be for Law, Engineering, Forensic Science, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, and Nursing students. Approximately 1300 students and their parents will participate in this orientation. In the first part, the honourable Pro-Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and Registrar of the university will address the students. In the second part, various experts will provide important information about the university, particularly regarding rules and regulations, sports, human values, personality development, placements, etc.

The program began with the lighting of the lamp and a brief overview of the university’s achievements.
Pro-Chancellor Prof. S.C. Garg, while addressing the students, said that with discipline, dedication, and time management, students can face any difficulty in life and achieve success. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Madhulika Kaushik, in her speech, advised the students to make maximum use of open learning resources. She also mentioned that the university is committed to the overall development of its students and that all the necessary facilities are available for them. She encouraged the students to utilize these and build a bright future. Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Saurabh Chaturvedi advised students to attend their classes regularly and participate in the competitions organized by the university, which would help them hone their skills along with their studies. Lastly, Registrar Dr. Anil Mishra informed the students about university life and urged them to follow the university’s rules prudently.
