Ranchi, Jharkhand: The Indoor Games and Basketball Stadium was inaugurated today at an important event at Usha Martin University, Ranchi. The Pro-Chancellor of the University Prof. S.C Garg and Registrar Dr. A K Mishra were present as the Chief Guests at the inaugural ceremony.

On the occasion, Pro-Chancellor Prof. S.C Garg in his address underlined the importance of sports facilities for the students of the University. He said that this stadium will not only provide opportunities to the students to excel in sports but will also develop them mentally and physically. Through this new sports facilities, the students will get a strong platform to compete at the national and international level.

Registrar Dr. A K Mishra also shared his views and said that the aim of the University is to motivate students to achieve excellence not only in academic excellence but also in the field of sports. He emphasized that a good sports classroom environment enriches the students socially, mentally and physically.

The Indoor Games Hall and Basketball Stadium were inaugurated with the aim to encourage the sports skills of the students in the University. The presence of the key officials of the University, teachers, students and their parents in the event made the event successful and memorable.

After the inauguration, the students visited the Indoor Games Hall and Basketball Court and showed enthusiasm to avail these excellent facilities. The University administration believes that these facilities will provide an opportunity to the students to further hone their sports talent.
