Ranchi, March 23, 2022: Usha Martin University celebrated World Mathematics Day at its Angara campus, on March 23, 2022. Every year, the day is commemorated to encourage all across the world to improve their skills in arithmetic and problem-solving. To mark the occasion, various programs like Math’s Quiz, Treasure Hunt, Musical Band, and online Gaming Competitions were organized at the University Campus.

Around 250 students from different disciplines participated in the programs. Professor SC Garg, Pro-Chancellor UMU spoke to the students about the importance of mathematics and encouraged them to incorporate the core rules of Mathematics in their daily lives. The winners were awarded certificates and prizes. Dr. Jayantika Pal and Mr. Dilip Kumar Ranjan coordinated the event. All HODs, University officials, faculty members, and students of all disciplines were present at the celebration.
