Usha Martin University has taken a practical step to improve everyday student life by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Scholar Z, a platform focused on student engagement and hostel management. The agreement was signed on 16 April 2026 at the university campus, in the presence of senior officials and representatives from both sides.

The ceremony was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Milind, Registrar Dr. Shiv Pratap Verma, Campus Director Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra, Dean Academics Prof. B.N. Sinha, and the Dean of Student Welfare, along with members of the Scholar Z team. Their participation reflected a shared interest in strengthening campus life through thoughtful use of technology.

This partnership is guided by the university’s effort to build a more student-focused and responsive campus environment. With the introduction of Scholar Z’s platform, hostel management is expected to become more organised and transparent. Students will be able to register complaints, follow updates in real time, and communicate through a single, easy system.

The platform also brings support services such as housekeeping, repairs, and maintenance into a more structured framework. These changes are intended to improve daily living conditions and reduce delays in addressing student concerns.

Alongside these practical improvements, the initiative will encourage greater student participation in campus activities, both online and offline. This is expected to help students connect more easily with one another and feel more engaged in campus life.
