Faculty Induction Programme Begins at Usha Martin University

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell of Usha Martin University opened its five-day Faculty Induction Programme on Monday with a focus on strengthening academic commitment and aligning new faculty members with the university’s goals.

The inaugural session was addressed by the Dean, who explained the purpose of the programme and the responsibilities that come with university teaching. The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Madhulika Kaushik, delivered the welcome address. She highlighted the university’s expectations in teaching, learning, and research, and encouraged the newly appointed faculty to uphold high standards in academic work.

Pro-Vice Chancellor, Prof. Milind, delivered a session on institutional building. His address drew attention to the role of faculty in shaping the academic culture and contributing to long-term growth. He urged the participants to take ownership of their academic roles and remain active contributors to the university’s progress.

The first day concluded with positive engagement from all participants, marking a promising start to the week-long programme. Over the next four days, sessions will cover administrative systems, academic responsibilities, research orientation, and examination processes.

The induction programme will continue till 28 November 2025. It aims to provide new faculty members with a strong foundation as they begin their journey at Usha Martin University.
