Usha Martin University Hosts Inter-College Tech Gaming Fest “College Rivals”

The third-year BTech Computer Science and Engineering students of Usha Martin University, Ranchi, organized an engaging inter-college event titled “College Rivals” on the university campus today. The fest brought together participants from various institutions to compete in a series of exciting e-sports and gaming challenges, including BGMI, Valorant, FC25, the Red Bull Simulator, and several other fun and skill-based activities.

The event was inaugurated in the presence of Prof. Madhulika Kaushik, Vice Chancellor, Dr. S. P. Verma, Registrar, Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra, Campus Director, Dr. Abhishek Pandey, Head of the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and Mr. Rahul Kumar Gupta. The dignitaries commended the students’ creativity, teamwork, and leadership in organizing a large-scale event that blended technology with recreation.

The core organizing team—Aditya, Devanshu, Ayush, Hardik, Shivam, Arpit, Rounit, Harsh, Bittu, Pupanjali, Shubham, Samad, and Nishant—played a vital role in ensuring the success of the fest.

Events like College Rivals help engineering students enhance their organizational, technical, and collaborative skills, preparing them for real-world challenges in technology-driven environments.
