Usha Martin University Hosts “Martinovation-2025”-A Spectacular Celebration of Technology and Innovation

Usha Martin University proudly hosted its prestigious annual tech fest, “Martinovation-2025,” with immense enthusiasm and vibrant participation from students across India. The grand inauguration ceremony was graced by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof.(Dr.)Milind, Dean Academics Prof. B.N. Sinha, Registrar Mr. Shiv PratapVerma, and Campus Director Mr. Anil Kumar Mishra. The event also witnessed the presence of Dr. Naghma Khatoon, Head of the Department of Faculty of Computing and Information Technology, and Dr. Abhishek Pandey, Head of the Department of Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

The core members of the team include Umanand Mishra, Shivanjali Sudhanshu, Himank Jaiswal, and Madhur Manoj, whose collective efforts and leadership have been instrumental in driving the project’s success.

This year’s edition of Martinovation featured an impressive lineup of 20 technical and creative events, offering students a platform to explore innovation and showcase their technological expertise. The events included: Hackathon, Web Development Challenge, Robotics Competition, Robo Race and many more.

Among these, the Hackathon stood out as the flagship event, promoting real-world problem-solving and teamwork. Over 15 leading institutions, including BIT Sindri, NIT Jamshedpur, Ramgarh Engineering College, and others, participated with great enthusiasm. A total prize pool of Rs. 40,000 was distributed among the winning teams for their innovative solutions and exceptional performances.

The fest was further enriched by thought-provoking sessions from distinguished speakers:

  • Mr. Aamin Uddin (IIT Guwahati) – Spoke on the future of Artificial Intelligence and sustainable technology.
  • Mr. SanatVibhor (VIT Vellore) – Emphasized interdisciplinary innovation and modern engineering approaches.
  • Ms. Isha (Shopify Expert) – Conducted an insightful session on e-commerce development and digital entrepreneurship.
  • Mr. Ankit Rai (Cyber Security Expert) – Delivered a practical workshop on ethical hacking and cybersecurity awareness.

In his address, PVC Dr. Milind applauded the organizing team and encouraged students to pursue hands-on learning and innovative thinking. Dean Academics Prof. B.N. Sinha highlighted the role of research and collaboration in advancing the frontiers of education and technology.

Martination 2025 not only celebrates technological excellence but also inspire young minds to push boundaries and create meaningful innovations for the future.
