The students of the Department of Paramedical Sciences successfully visited the Medha Dairy Farm, Hotwar on 24th September 2025 as part of their educational tour, initiated under the guidance and leadership of the Head of Department, Mrs. Sangita Kujur.
The visit aimed to provide practical exposure and enhance the students’ understanding of the functioning and management of a large-scale dairy unit. During the visit, students gained valuable insights into:
- Modern dairy farming practices and automated processing systems.
- Quality control and hygiene standards maintained in milk production.
- Safety protocols followed during handling and packaging.
- The role of technical expertise and laboratory testing in ensuring product quality.
The students actively interacted with the farm officials, clarified their doubts, and related their classroom learning with real-world practices. This experience enriched their knowledge and motivated them to explore interdisciplinary applications of paramedical sciences in the food and healthcare industries.
The department extends sincere gratitude to Medha Dairy Farm authorities for their warm hospitality and informative session. Special appreciation goes to Mrs. Sangita Kujur, HOD, for initiating and facilitating this educational visit, which proved highly beneficial for the students.
