Usha Martin University, Ranchi, has been ranked 1st among the Best Private Universities in Jharkhand by the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF). At the zonal level, the university secured the 6th rank, and at the national level, it has been ranked 66th.

The IIRF 2025 ranks over 1,000 institutions across India, including more than 300 universities, 350 engineering colleges, 150+ business schools, 50 law colleges, 50 design schools, 50 architecture colleges, and over 100 undergraduate colleges for BBA and BCA. The IIRF ranking is based on solid analysis by experts and is considered one of the most diverse and authentic rankings in India, widely accepted by the corporate world.

This was the first time the university applied for the ranking, and achieving the top position at the state level in the very first attempt reflects its dedication to excellence in education.

The university currently operates from a permanent campus spread across 30 acres, offering 30+ academic programs and educating around 4,000 students in diverse disciplines including Management, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Physiotherapy, Paramedical Sciences, Nursing, Engineering, Law, English, Forensic Science, and Journalism & Mass Communication.
