Ranchi, February 12, 2025: Usha Martin University, Ranchi, took a significant step towards fostering innovation and entrepreneurship with the inauguration of its Incubation Centre. The centre was inaugurated by Pro-Chancellor Prof. S. C. Garg, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Madhulika Kaushik, and Registrar Dr. A. K. Mishra. Students from various departments showcased their start-up prototypes, demonstrating their innovative ideas and entrepreneurial potential. Adding to the excitement, a Start-up Spark Exhibition was organized, featuring promising ventures like Animal’s APP, Be Paisa Wise, You Evolve, IIAR, Millife, and Champaran Honey. A key highlight of the event was a seminar conducted by You Evolve, which focused on the holistic well-being of students aged 13-25. The seminar provided valuable insights into mental health, personal development, and self-growth, aiming to support young minds in their academic and entrepreneurial journeys. Further  strengthening industry collaborations, two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed between Usha Martin University and Semina Agro Private Limited and You Evolve. These partnerships are expected to provide students with valuable industry exposure, mentorship, and business development opportunities. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Lopamudra Satapathy, Incubation Centre Coordinator. The university’s initiative is poised to create a thriving ecosystem for student-led innovation and entrepreneurship.
