Today, on Thursday, 6 February 2025, a one-day seminar on the topic of Indian Knowledge System and Artificial Intelligence organized by the Department of Indian Knowledge System of Usha Martin University, Ranchi in collaboration with Dr. Anupama Verma and Dr. Simpi Rani was organized under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor of the University (Prof.) Dr. Madhulika Kaushik. The seminar was inaugurated by the keynote speaker, former Head of the Department of Postgraduate Hindi Department of Ranchi University (Prof.) Dr. Jung Bahadur Pandey, special guests Dr. Jai Prakash Pandey, Head of the Hindi Department of Saint Xavier’s College, retired Principal Dr. Vasudev Prasad, teacher of Government Teacher Training College Dr. Om Prakash and Registrar of the University Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra by jointly lighting the lamp. Addressing the first session, Dr. Jai Prakash Pandey of Saint Xavier’s College explained in detail the Guru tradition in Indian knowledge. In the second session, the keynote speaker (Prof.) Dr. Jung Bahadur Pandey presented his views on the subject of Indian knowledge tradition and artificial intelligence. In his address, he entered the subject with an interactive session with the students. He said that we all have to move forward together, knowledge in one hand and technology in the other, so that we can achieve the goal of vikshitbharat@2047. In his address, he said that India was the world leader on the basis of its Indian knowledge, there is no alternative to knowledge. We have to understand our cultural, social, family structure. The present young generation is the life breath of developed India. India is the largest in the world due to the basis of truth, morality, generosity. He visited the Indian Knowledge Tradition Department of the university and told that this is the first university in the whole of Jharkhand where a cell of Indian knowledge tradition has been created in which all the sages, saints and gurus have been shown on the map of Akhand Bharat.
On this occasion, Dr Vasudev Prasad, Founder and National Convener of Akhand Bharat Sahitya Parishad honoured Usha Martin University Vice Chancellor Dr Madhulika Kaushik and Registrar by presenting them shawl and Sunder Kand. On behalf of the department, the Vice Chancellor honoured all the guests with shawl and memento. The programme was conducted by students Piyush Kumar and Rida Khan. University faculty Dr Tulika, Dr Vinay along with students Aryan Singh, Supriya Roy, Bhoomi Sonkar, Abhas Dubey, Prince Kumar played an important role in the seminar. Hundreds of students participated in the seminar. Dean Academics Dr B N Sinha gave the vote of thanks. The seminar concluded with the National Anthem.
