On the occasion of 53rd Statehood Day Celebration of Tripura in Rajbhawan Jharkhand, Dr. Sharmistha Roy, Associate Professor & HOD of Faculty of Computing & IT was invited to represent the state of Tripura and Usha Martin University on 24th January 2025. On this momentous occasion, she delivered a speech that delved into the intricate tapestry of Tripura’s traditions. The speech not only celebrated Tripura’s journey to statehood but also served as a bridge connecting the hearts of the people present and extended warm regards to honorable Governor of Jharkhand for his presence and continuous support and guidance in fostering strong ties between our states. She received felicitation from honorable Governor sir. The felicitation inspired the efforts in preserving and sharing the cultural treasures and solidified the bonds of camaraderie between the two states.
