Special Program Organized at UMU to Celebrate Sri Aurobindo’s 150th Birth Anniversary

On the occasion of Sri Aurobindo’s 150th birth anniversary, Usha Martin University hosted a prestigious awareness program organized by the team “Eager to Forge Ahead” on May 7, 2024.

The event saw participation from distinguished dignitaries, heads of various departments, faculty members, and approximately 120 students. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Madhulika Kaushik; Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Saurav Chaturvedi; and Registrar, Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra. The program was conducted by Assistant Professor Mrs. Roslin Samanta from the Pharmacy Department. Faculty members Rakhi Mishra, Shubhashree Sahu, and Dr. Rajesh Patro were also in attendance.

During the program, Dr. Lipika Rath and Dr. Divya Jivan Pati provided enlightening insights, guiding the attendees through the intricate paths of spiritual knowledge and philosophical understanding.

Throughout the session, Vice Chancellor Prof. Kaushik expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organizers, and Dr. Mishra honored the team members. They emphasized the importance of integrating spiritual principles into academic discourse for holistic development.

The program concluded with inspiration, leaving the attendees enriched with profound insights and a renewed sense of purpose in their spiritual journeys.
