Recognizing the importance of promoting millets and exploring their culinary versatility, a group of BSc hons agriculture students from Faculty of Agriculture, Usha Martin University organized Millet Festival on February 29, 2024 at university campus to showcase various millet-based food items prepared by themselves. The millet festival wasinaugurated by Hon’ble Pro- Chancellor, Prof. P.C. Garg and Registrar, Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra. They visited each and every food stall and encourage students to disseminate the nutritional importance of millet among common individuals. In this event students prepared ragiladoo, cupcake, cookies, barfi, protein bar, chips, cutlet, momos and ragi sticks. This event was coordinated by Dr. Sunil Kumar.
