Faculty of Agriculture, in collaboration with Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, observed Parthenium awareness week from 16-22 Aug 2023. University students participated in parthenium weed removal campaign in and around the Campus and agriculture fields. Ms Manisha Kumari delivered a  lecture on Parthenium’s harmful and beneficial effects and its management in which BSc Hons. Agriculture students participated. Prof Madhulika Kaushik VC UMU, Dr. Anil Kumar Mishra, Registrar UMU,  Dr.Lopamudra Satapathy UBA coordinator and HOD Agriculture, Dr. Abhisek Pandey NSS Coordinator, Dr. Alisha Kumari, Dr. Bireshwar Kundu, Mr. Amarnath Mahto, Ms. Juhi Kumari, MsJayitaDandapat also participated and made the events successful.
