Usha Martin University, Ranchi has emerged as the top private university in Jharkhand for UG programs BBA and BCA according to the All-India survey done by Open magazine.
It outshines all other universities in key areas marked out of 1000 as legacy, infrastructure, accreditation process, research and academic brilliance, campus amenities, placements, career growth, personality development, and co-curricular activities.
Under criteria taken into account for BCA, UMU has bagged a total of 514.9 out of 1000. 68.3 out of 225 have been allotted for legacy and accreditation process; 157.5 out of 180 for infrastructure and campus amenities; 181.3 out of 240 for research and academic brilliance; 77.4 out of 225 for placements and career growth; 30.4 out of 100 for personality development and co-curricular activities.
Under criteria taken into consideration for BBA, UMU has made it to the topper list by scoring 576.7 out of 1000. For the legacy and accreditation process, it has scored 132.8 out of 225; 115.8 out of 180 for infrastructure and campus amenities; 142.7 out of 240 for research and academic brilliance; 135.2 out of 225 placements and career growth; 50.2 out of 100 for personality development and co-curricular activities.
Usha Martin University has been established vide Usha Martin University (UMU), Jharkhand Act 2012. The University Grants Commission has recognized UMU as a self-financing Private University authorized to award certificates, diplomas and degrees.
Additionally, UMU offers professional programs for higher education such as LLB and B Pharmacy, which have been duly recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India and Bar Council of India, respectively. The prestigious Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi has also granted membership to UMU.
