The first convocation of Usha Martin University, top University in Ranchi organized on 4^th May 2023 at the University campus where the Honorable Governor of Jharkhand, Mr. C.P. Radhakrishnan graces the ceremony as the Chief Guest. In addition, eminent dignitaries of the University including Mr. Hemant Goyal, The Chairman of Usha Martin University; Prabhat Kumar, the Chancellor of Usha Martin University; Madhulika Kaushik, the Vice Chancellor of Usha Martin University; Professor Anand Kumar, founder of “Super 30” graced the convocation ceremony.

Since it was the first convocation ceremony, therefore it was filled with motivation, excitement, and joy where 577 students received their degree from the Honorable Governor of Jharkhand and 18 students from graduation and postgraduation received Gold Medal for stellar performance in academics. Padma Shri, Professor Anand Kumar, founder of “Super 30” received D.Litt.

The Chief Guest of Convocation Ceremony, the Honorable Governor of Jharkhand, Mr. C.P. Radhakrishnan delivered the convocation address, where he encouraged students to become employment creators, which is the need of the nation. In addition, the honorable Governor, appreciated the holistic effort of Usha Martin University for maintaining discipline, dedication and ethics while maintaining academic excellence that make it a top University in Ranchi.

Padma Shri, Professor Anand Kumar, also delivered the convocation address, he expressed gratitude to Usha Martin University for honouring him with D.Litt. While delivering the convocation address, he shed light on the significance of education that empowers society and its people. In addition, he also shared some valuable insights with students about life and advised not to compromise with principles and ambitions in ups and downs of life.

The Vice Chancellor of Usha Martin University, Professor Madhulika Kaushik also addressed the convocation ceremony where she greeted graduates for their splendid future and highlighted the achievement of the University in the context of research and development. In addition, she presented annual report of the University and shed light on some salient features of the University including robust industry-academia collaboration, notable publications, awards and achievements, research collaboration with top organizations, and productive student activities.
